This is Hawa Ibrahim Essa

My name is Hawa Ibrahim Essa and I am from the Moro tribe in the Nuba Mountains and I graduated from Health Science College at Ahfad University. With respect and love, I would like to thank Mama Lillian who directs Together for Sudan Organization and helped me to stand on my own feet by paying the fees of my five years course. Also, with my sincere love I would like to thank the Mo Ibrahim Foundation and all members of Together for Sudan who put their best efforts to help people in need.

I am the youngest of five sisters and three brothers but none of them went to university because of our financial situation. My father is a farmer with only a small income because of the drought, and my mother died a few days ago. These days, I am working on school health program at the Ministry of Health in Khartoum. Also, I am interested to work as a volunteer for one of the charity organisations to help poor people.
