Welcome
We regard education in Sudan as a human right and promote personal and
community empowerment through service, taking our lead from what displaced
and marginalized people say they need.
We believe that education of women is
the central building block of civil society. Our work is carried out through
a United Kingdom charity:
Together for Sudan -
The Bishop Mubarak Fund.
There are thirteen Sudanese employees in our Khartoum and Kadugli offices
who supervise projects in the Khartoum area and in the Nuba Mountains of
western Sudan. We are also supporting teachers in Juba and expanding
our activities to training of literacy teachers in Darfur.
We draw no religious or cultural boundaries, following
the example of Sudanese Christians and Muslims working together to ensure a
better future for those whose lives have been shattered by war and
displacement in Sudan.
All patrons, trustees and officials of Together for
Sudan are volunteers and work from home.
